What's Happening at SBS?
Open House - Jan. 29th
The annual St. Barnabas Open House will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Not only is this a great opportunity to come in and see what is going on at the school it is also our major 'marketing' event. If you have friends, family or neighbors who have a child going into Kindergarten next year or who have an older child that they are thinking about moving to a new school this is the time to invite them to come check out St. Barnabas.

Catholic Schools Week Activities
01/29 – OPEN HOUSE 10:00AM to 1:00 PM
01/30 – Pajama Day – Come to school in pajamas. You may bring a blanket and SMALL stuffed friend.
01/31 – Color Games – Wear your Jog A Thon shirt. School families compete against each other in fun picnic games
02/01 – Teacher Switch Day – Raffle tickets are still being sold to win a chance to be Teacher for the morning!
02/02 – Lip Sync/Talent Show – Share your gifts and talents with the SBS community!
02/03 – Grandparent Brunch and First Friday Mass (sponsored by 8th Grade) Pick up a flyer in the office and RESERVE YOUR SPOT by 1/31!
Wine a Little, You'll Feel Better - RSVP by Feb. 1
Please join us for the 1st Annual Wine Tasting Social. A fun night filled with wine, appetizers, desserts and good company.

Upcoming Fundraisers - Updated
Wow, 2011 has flown by and that means 2012 will do just the same. Many of you have asked for a list of the upcoming fundraisers for the rest of the school year. The current list is here.

Catholic Baseball League
A stress free program for children aged 4-12 dedicated to learning the game of baseball and having FUN. Registration will be held outside the Parish Center from 8:30 to noon on Sunday January 8, 22 and February 5, the season will run from March to June.

Revised Service Hour Recording
Beginning on January 5, 2012, each family will be required to log their service hours in a new service hours binder that will be located in the school office. Each family will have a service hours log sheet that contains their family name and number, all daily and special events must be logged in this book in order to receive credit.

SBS Recycles
Recycling Day is held on the second Tuesday of each month, and is sponsored by Student Council. Plastic bottles (without the lid) and aluminum cans are collected. Help SBS and the environment at the same time!

Baja Sonora is continuing their "PTA Monday" program. 10% of all sales on Monday will be donated to local PTAs, please mention St. Barnabas when you order. There are two locations:
